s2 layout: bound to linger on [flexible squares]
It upsets me when people borrow from codes I haven't even posted yet. So, a little sooner than I'd hoped and a bit rough around the edges, here it is:

browsers: IE7, FF, Safari, Chrome, and Opera






installation

01.

Choose Journal Style

02.

Select "Grays" Flexible Squares layout in "Select a New Theme"

03.

In Choose a Page Setup, select 2 Column (sidebar on right) or 2 Column (sidebar on left). Ad Placement should be either Horizontal or Between Entries.

04.

Go to " Customise your Theme " and then "Style ". Change the "Background color of the outer table" to #FFFFFF.

05.

Still in "Customise your Theme", go to "Custom CSS ". Ensure Use layout's stylesheet(s) is set to no

06.

Paste code into the Custom Stylesheet box.

I don't know who made those icons on the header but someone just released a layout a few minutes ago with the same ones on [info]mintyapple.

I haven't checked the codes yet though. But how do people even get your codes before you release them?

Anyway, I'm not a fan of big icons because I like headers better. XD But other than that, I'm always a big fan of your layouts. <3

(they're by dryicons...knew I'd forget to credit somebody if I rush-posted)

I've been using it at my personal journal and asked a while back if people would be interested in it. It happens sometimes with whatever layout I use at MV, which I usually only release after I make a knew one :\ Most people wait.

You'd need to add somthing like this to the bottom of your code:

#header{background:transparent url(http://XXX) no-repeat 50% 100%;padding-bottom:BANNERHEIGHT+10px;margin-bottom:10px}

replacing the bolded bits with the information from your header image. And by BANNERHEIGHT+10px I mean your banner height plus an extra 10px for padding, so if your banner is 200px high, the padding-bottom would be padding-bottom: 210px;.

I know honey, and I'm glad you like it :) It just makes me kinda uncomfortable when your layouts are a little too similar to mine. You've got a great personal style it just seems like such a waste.
